At Sumseron, our vision is a world where Kenyan coffee stands proudly amongst the very best. Celebrated for its exceptional flavor, and most importantly where our farmers THRIVE. We see a future where every cup of our coffee is a testament to the rich terroir of our land, and a delight to coffee connoisseurs the world over. Our commitment to producing top-tier coffee is unwavering, as we aim to elevate Kenya’s coffee industry to unparalleled heights.
Each year, we collect $0.01 from each kilogram of coffee we sell throughout the year to fund our Seeds program. Seeds offer financial grants to small coffee producers and farmers at coffee cooperative societies we work with to implement sustainability projects they identify as beneficial. By directing iridescent funds into Seeds, we will be able to support more projects and increase the resilience of coffee farmers and their communities.
Together with Ambassador Tegla Loroupe, we have embarked on a mission to foster peace between warring communities in the North Rift region of Kenya. Amb. Loroupe is a beacon of hope that not only echoes in the North Rift but in all of Kenya. Her passion for peace is second to none. Our mutual goal is to ensure that we empower communities to lay down their weapons and invest more on the prospective opportunities that will positively impact their futures.
Supporting women to marketing their unique coffees.
Through Sumseron Coffee, the women of Kipkelion Women in Coffee are involved in a program called Growing Women in Coffee. As in most coffee-growing communities, women typically contribute a large portion of the work but disproportionately own very few coffee farms themselves. The project aimed to give women ownership over their coffee trees. Now, women in Kipkelion continue to increase their economic and social empowerment by marketing their women-grown coffees through Sumseron Coffee exporter. We have also replicated the same model in West Pokot women in coffee, Mount Elgon Women in Coffee thus ending gender based violence & domestic issues in families because there is enough at home.
Sumseron Promotion Events
In the context of international trade, “fairs” typically refer to trade shows, exhibitions, or expos where businesses showcase their products and services to potential customers, partners, and industry professionals. These events provide an opportunity for Sumseron Coffee exporter to network, promote their brands, and explore new business opportunities.
